Certificate II in Retail Services

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of activities and functions requiring basic retail operational knowledge and limited practical skills in a defined context.

Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail outlets. Individuals may work with some autonomy or in a team but usually under close supervision.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway and is also appropriate for VET in Schools (VETiS) delivery.

Certificate III in Retail Operations

This course reflects the role of an individual who works with customers in an retail environment, giving you the relevant skills and knowledge to work in a small or medium retail store front or back of the business.

Certificate III in Retail provides the opportunity for employees to update, increase and broaden their skills and knowledge in the retail industry. This course is designed to guide your career development and enable you to be competent in skilled operations and the practical application of knowledge.

This profession will see you responsible for merchandising, creating and maintaining window displays, working towards sales targets, and processing retail transactions, all while providing stand-out customer service.

Certificate IV in Retail Management

A retail manager is responsible for the daily operations of a retail store.

Through our Certificate IV in Retail Management you will learn the skills required to manage a small to medium sized retail store group or franchise outlet, manage an independent retail store, manage a business-to-business outlet, departmental or section management in a retail or business-to-business enterprise, functional management roles such as merchandise management, stock mangement and control, and how to manage and lead an effective sales team.

You will be able to manage store presentation, merchandise and pricing, coordinate implementation of customer service strategies, develop business-to-business relationships, sustain customer loyalty, train sales team members and manage sales and service delivery.
